The exhibition celebrates the photographic genius of Elliott Erwitt through 80 iconic shots that capture the history, costume and irony of the 20th century. The images on display in Pisa offer a unique insight into his long career, revealing the surreal, romantic and often playful gaze that made his style unmistakable. The exhibition features some of the most famous moments portrayed by Erwitt, such as the meeting between Nixon and Khrushchev, the moving image of Jackie Kennedy at her husband's funeral, and the famous boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
Alongside these historic photographs, the public will be able to admire the famous portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Che Guevara and Marlene Dietrich.
